Joe Beninati is Partner and Co-founder of Antares Investment Partners. Mr. Beninati secured and is currently leading a 600,000 SF luxury rental & condominium project in Greenwich, the largest real estate project of any type in town history. Mr. Beninati is also coordinating the design and construction of over 400,000 SF of luxury residential and retail development in Westchester and Greenwich, including the Antares Mansions, Lake Carrington, CiderMill, and Armonk Square projects. Mr. Beninati lives in Greenwich and grew up in Armonk, NY, and has been active in local real estate markets for over 10 years. Mr. Beninati is also co-founder and former Chairman and CEO of Greenwich Technology Partners (GTP), a leading 600 person global engineering firm. During his tenure, GTP was named by Inc. Magazine as the 9th fastest growing company in the US, and Mr. Beninati was recognized by Harvard Business School as one of the top entrepreneurs in the US prior to GTP being sold. Mr. Beninati is also currently a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a former member of the Board of his Fairfield chapter. He received a BA from Middlebury College in 1987. Mr. Beninati is also a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, where he met Mr. Cabrera in 1982.
Jim Cabrera is Partner and Co-founder of Antares Investment Partners. Mr. Cabrera is responsible for the development of the Stamford Waterfront Development, one of the largest development projects in the United States with approximately six million square feet and approximately $4.0 billion of value. Since co-founding Antares, Mr. Cabrera has managed investments in Pickwick Plaza, Seaview House, and several other Class A commercial office properties in Fairfield County, CT, Long Island and Westchester County, NY. Mr. Cabrera also managed Antares' investment in and recapitalization of the Delamar Greenwich Harbor Hotel, a waterfront luxury hotel in Greenwich, CT. Mr. Cabrera lives in and grew up in Greenwich, CT and has been active in the local real estate markets for over 15 years. Prior to co-founding Antares Investment Partners, Mr. Cabrera was the regional president of The Galbreath Companies, where he was responsible for 350 people and nearly 5 million square feet of office space with an approximate value of $850 million. Mr. Cabrera also co-founded Greenwich Technology Partners with Mr. Beninati and was EVP of Marketing & Sales during that firm's highest growth years of GTP. He received a BA from Duke University in 1987. Mr. Cabrera is also a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, where he met Mr. Beninati in 1982.
